I’ve disappeared for quite some time now.  Too many reasons for the disappearance and I’m not going to bore you by discussing them.  In fact, I’m going to get straight to the point of my latest post.

I saw this commercial on television a few days back.  To begin with, I had thought it was a music video.  It is just too good not to share.

I don’t know what the creator’s were eating, drinking, smoking, or injecting when they conceptualized this commercial.  Original idea, fantastic animation, and very entertaining.  The soundtrack is also worth searching for and downloading.

Enough with all the blabber.  Just check the video out for yourselves.

*Update* I enjoyed the track in the video so much, that after some web digging, it turns out that the track is titled “Let’s Roll” from a Kuwaiti hip-hop band called Army Of One who just released their debut album entitled ‘Hush’.

I managed to download a few tracks off the album and was very impressed.  The tracks are fast paced, high-energy, and Arabic infused with hip-hop flows and lyrics.

The above commercial is currently airing on satellite TV channels across the Arab world.  For more information on the band, their music, videos, and events, visit www.army-one.com.

Video: The Charleston Remix February 8, 2007

What do you get when an old, black & white clip of the 1920’s popular dance craze ‘ The Charleston’, is played to the fabulous tune of Daft Punk’s ‘Around The World’?

You get one funky remix!  Quite a creative concept.

English actress Catherine Tate in a hilarious, non politically-correct sketch from her BBC series – ‘The Catherine Tate Show’.

The sketch takes a stereotypical view on different languages, with a comedic spin.  Lot’s of fun…Enjoy!

Video: Dancing Around The World February 1, 2007

This is truly a fantastic video!  Definitely worth watching.

I was very happy and proud to see Jordan included.  I’ve already made a list of all the places I want to vist.

Sit back, relax, turn your speakers up, and take a 4-minute trip around the world.

*Warning* This video contains freakishly weird dancing.  Not for the light hearted 😉

Video: Paula Abdul’s Wackiest Interview Yet January 15, 2007

There is no way ‘The Theme’ can allow an incident like this to pass under the radar.

Paula Abdul, the kind-hearted, supportive, and bubbly judge on the extremely popular TV show ‘American Idol’, might be drinking a little too much bubbly these days.

Paula’s most recent interview, which was conducted to help promote the upcoming new season, was an utter disaster and a complete embarrassment to her and the show.  Paula’s antics have always been a little too weird for my liking; but at least she still fell under the “normal” category.  Well, not anymore folks!!

Slurred words, a crooked smile, twitching, and just plain obnoxious.  Drunk?  Stoned?  You be the judge…

Jigsaw, the creepy puppet from the “Saw” movie series, in his funniest scene yet.

I laughed my a$$ off watching this video.  And everytime I watch it over again, I crack up even harder.

Jigsaw’s dead!!

Video: A Medley By Aries Spears December 14, 2006

Aries Spears was a stand-up comedian who later joined the cast of MADtv in their 3rd Season.  He became famous for his imitations of Bill Cosby, Bobbie Brown, Eddie Murphy, Mike Tyson, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jackson, Jessie Jackson, MC Hammer, and many many more.

He recently appeared on Live 105 Morning Show (a popular US radio show), in which he performed a medley of rap all-stars such as Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, DMX and Jay-Z.  The accurate depiction of these rappers’ voices, flows, and rhymes is truly off the hook.  This guy is simply amazing!!  You’ll have to watch and hear for yourself…

Although Frank was the 4th performance on the 4th day of “Impressionist Week”, I personally think this guy is amazing and so decided to keep his performance for my last post of this sequence.

Frank Caliendo starred on MadTV.  He is a very talented comedian.  He appeared on the Tonight Show with David Letterman a few months back with an amazing skit impersonating George W. Bush.  I remember the clip going around on e-mail (gobble gobble) so some of you may have an idea of how funny and talented he is.

Anyway, Frank is back for “Impressionist Week” with his signature John Madden and George “Dubya” impressions.  Definately the best and funniest performance of them all…enjoy!

I saved the best two performances from “Impressionist Week” for the weekend.  The first three performances were great, but the next two are fantastic!

Kevin Pollak started out as a stand-up comedian/impressionist then made his way into Hollywood.  He returns to his roots for “Impressionist Week” with one of the best Christopher Walkin impressions I’ve ever seen…

It only gets better folks!

We are on our third day, thus third performance, of David Letterman’s recent “Impressionist Week”.  Two more days to go, and as always, I’m saving the best and funniest performance for last.

I had never heard of Gordie Brown before, but I’m sure this performance elevated him to stardom.  He’s a young and very talented comedian.  The guy starts out with an amazing Jack Nicholson impression (after watching The Departed last night, Mr. Brown is definately on point), then finishes by acting out a “would-be” Golf game between Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and a few other very well-known actors…fantastic!!  Check out his performance:
